Benevolence has the most caring and committed staff I have seen. They don't hide issues and always call about changes in a resident. A skin tear is reported to family. End of life care is hard on everyone. They are very informed and well trained in this area. They work hard to care for your family member! My father is in a northern facility, great company.

My father passed a month ago. Two days after he passed my mother and I were able to clean out his room. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the bodily fluids all over the railings and floor where my dad had aspirated in his sleep and passed away. I'm an RN and I was absolutely disgusted that in two days no one took the time to clean this off the bed railings or floor purely out of respect for the patient, and the family. After 4 months of incredibly limited interaction with my father, this is the last thing I get to see while cleaning out his room. As a Registered Nurse for 10 years, I emailed the company who runs this facility discussing the issue of their end of life care policies and giving constructive feedback on how to improve them. After a month I did not receive any communication or acknowledgement following up with my concern. For a premier long term care facility, it is becoming more evident that it is more about making money, and less about providing care for your loved ones. Very disappointed.

My mom passed and suffered a very traumatic experience. It took a year of being there to receive a wheelchair or simple needs that were to be supplied. She was forgotten in a room with no dignity. There is no CARE for people who become bed ridden. No bathing! She was so thin and malnourished the care staff broke her tail bone and hid it !If your loved one can't help themselves expect a painful short lifespan of trauma. I look back on pictures that sicken! anger! me in disgust, of HOW someone could treat a helpless elder this way. In my opinion should be thrown in jail!! But no rather these people are paid 25 to 30 an hour to abuse your parent. We frown on photos of dogs being abused. Why is it ok to allow seniors to go through this kind of trauma.I pray to get strenght to expose this disgusting, money grab, with zero human ethic. I hope for everything that had happened there, \what comes around goes around. \ you too will become elder at some point in time. I agree 100% with the fellow who wrote on the reviews as well. You are not alone! My mother many times had a full plate of food with a soiled feces covered washcloth sitting next to her dinner on the table. When confronted no one helped or had anything to say ( when calling the facility you could never get through!). If this is laid out for us to see, I can not imagine! The behind closed doors what it looked like. Our poor elders! Disgusting facility \Lipstick on a PIG!\Don't let the staged photos fool you. I have realistic photos. I feel so very sad that Covit 19 family's can not enter! This only give more control of abuse , isolation, and malnutrition for these poor people.
