Am a Mortgage Specialist and have now ordered Property Appraisals for different banks with Cartwright Appraisals. They have always delivered well before time. To top it up, Kelly at Cartwright offered the best customer service ever. Highly Recommend!
Through my company, I have used Cartwright Appraisals for over a decade. In the past, they've always been great, however, it seems like things have changed. We recently had a situation where the appraiser from Cartwright Appraisals did not appraise a property correctly -using properties for comparison that didn't accurately reflect the appraised property's location, and neighborhood, and ignored properties that sold right near the appraised property. When the customer we had referred to Cartwright Appraisals contacted the appraiser to ask what had happened, the appraiser from Cartwright Appraisals yelled at the customer, swore at him, and did not listen. Messing up on an appraisal is one thing, but swearing at a customer is just not acceptable in this, or any industry. I won't be sending customers to Cartwright Appraisals in the future, and I would have a hard time recommending that anyone else use them either.
I used Kelly for an appraisal on my home. Kelly is an advisarial and confrontational individual who was extremely unprofessional. When questioned as to why he didn't include a specific sale of a home 2 doors down from mine and instead used a comparable from over 30kms away, he told me \I have been doing this for 25 years and now all of the sudden you think you are qualified to tell me how to do my job?\. He swore at me and yelled at me on the phone call. I am astonished how someone with a demeanour such as he has is still in business. Speechless.
