The google guides that have placed reviews here are clearly lazy and very inaccurate. This is not just for "old people" who cant take care of themselves. The excel society is : The Excel Society, a Non-Profit organization, celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2014. Excel supports and advocates for people with mental, physical and developmental disabilities in both Edmonton and Calgary I watch them routinely take their clients for walks and exercise, it is an immaculate facility

This place is for seniors who are not capable of doing things in there own needs someone to look after them and give them 24/7 care .Very nice place but they have some mental patients in there too.
Ample parking, clean establishment; great space to host an event.
Helpful for our purpose, staff that showed us around was friendly.
