I work here so my review should not be considered unbiased. I think they have an awesome facility, especially to cater to pandemic requirements. They're not reopen yet bc Albertan politicians keep messing up but their VR rentals are always in demand. If you're looking for something to do to connect 2 households, rent 2 VR systems and setup 1 in each. Super cheap for way to connect friends/family for a weekend/weekday of fun

A month or so ago, I took my 4 year old son and my nieces (3 and 5) to Game OVR. We booked the Deluxe room so that we could all play together and the kids could watch each other play. This was something we could do together as a little group, while socially distanced from the other customers there. It was such a good time. The kids started to pretend they were playing VR at home with whatever the could use as the \goggles\, and even put up a keyboard against the wall as if there was a computer system there. Game OVR has definitely left a lasting impression on the kids, and we are sure to come back!

This place is awesome! The owners have adapted extremely well to these challenging times. They have set up their location to accommodate social distancing and keeping everyone safe while they have fun. If you feel more comfortable at home they also offer VR rentals which is terrific! Want to fight the Zombie Invasion, relax on a beach or maybe help Santa in the North Pole? Get in to Game OVR today!

I would 100% recommend OVR! We just had our sons birthday party and they went above and beyond with Covid safety, and accommodating a bunch of crazy, hyper boys! Their new space is just outside St Albert (so not to far out of our bubble) and it’s beautiful! So large and a huge front entrance. My husband enjoyed it just as much as the kids (or even more!) so great for all ages. We will be back :)

Excellent experience. The pricing is great. Beats anyone in the city. The game choices are diverse and keep you busy. There is a bit of everything for everyone. One suggestion is adding a sport like hockey or football(if they're available for VR). Staff are friendly and professional. You don't have to wait long for good service. Keep it up, Game OVR!
