I took my old Rolex tudor in for repairs because it hadn't been working for some time. I was assured that it would repaired with genuine Rolex parts right from Ontario for 550.00. I told them to wait while till I made sure that I had enough money, and when I did I told them to go ahead. Two days after I got my watch back there was condensation inside (I had taken a shower. I used to swim with it on!).I took it back, and was told that "oh no, it isn't moisture-proof anymore". Gold Hour doesn't have the equipment to seal it. I thought that was strange but that I could live with it Two days later it had stopped running. I took it back again. I took it back four times and the last time I left it there for two weeks to make sure that it was running properly. During all of this he had to order a new crown for it because he said that mine was broken. When I pointed out that the new crown (winder) didn't have the Rolex symbol on it he said "that's what they sent me, maybe it's discontinued". My watch now had to be wound by hand, it was self-winding before, the second-hand has a little kink in it which he did. .Needless to say I was not happy at all. I wanted my money back. They settled on refunding me 350. I have now gone to Gem-Oro and another watchmaker and they both tell me that the crown is not genuine. When I went back and told Golden Hour Hour that, they told me that they use a distributor in Toronto and didn't know that he wasn't a qualified Rolex distributor. I even offered to bring my watch back and they could take out the parts that they had put in and give me back my old parts but that I wanted the 200 back. They refused and the gentleman told me never to come there again, in anger. What am I supposed to do? I'm still out 200 and my watch is in worse shape than when I took it in.

Took a kids clock here because it wasn't working. The gentleman fixed it as good as new for a low 5. Can't complain :)
