The customer service from counter staff was adequate. - ownership member very rude about customer parking. - before asking me if I was a patron, was confronted and given written note on vehicle saying I would be towed. No situational awareness skills here. - not worth the hassle this place. - harrassed me as a paying customer - take my business elsewhere and be treated with respect

best ramen in edmonton. period. Admittedly the bar is not high. Tokiwa was our previous go to but they were never great (compared to vancouver standard and lets not even mention japan) and have gone downhill since covid. So imagine how happy wifey and i were when our taco spot started offering ramen. We were expecting the typical edmonton warm salt water MSG and uninspiring noods, especially from a joint that specializes in tacos but man were we surprised...pleasantly. not only was the noodles silky and portion generous, the broth was in a word...heaven. so much depth and umami. tonkotsu highly recommended. black garlic, put a tear in my eye and took me back to the little noodle shops in Osaka. met the chef who explained to us, they do their noods in house and broth is fresh made daily, all natural and no preservatives. Japanese wifey approved but not allow to go solo. she said chef is too pretty and i might fall in love lolol.
incredible flavor and umami. the chef (i think) mentioned they only use natural ingredients and no MSG. pretty impressed that you can find this level of broth in Canada, let alone Edmonton, which is not exactly a ramen mecca. The noodles were perfect as well. reminded me of Tokiwa noods. Broth was next level though, actually several levels. I would happily pay 20 a bowl as it's cheaper than flying to Japan
My food order was unreasonably slow to be made. I had exhausted my lunch break waiting for 50 minutes and received a refund leaving empty handed. I'm also not confident ordering in advance is a valid option as there were multiple skip drivers also waiting for their orders when I had left
Black garlic ramen was amazing, will be back to try more!
shared a tonkatsu with hubby and it was so amazing, he ate most of it so ordered a 2nd one for myself, black garlic. even better! hubby was too full to eat all the black garlic hehe. Washed it all down with earl grey trio from presotea who they share the space with. now to walk off some calories
such friendly staff here. always service with a smile even when it's so busy especially with the patio back open. it was so nice to enjoy our dinner while enjoying the weather. highly recommend the jiro 2 and the tonkotsu ramen. definitely best ramen in edmonton by far. the noods are sooo smooth and broth so umami
Ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and I’m blown away at the depth of flavour in the soup! The soup was thick, lots of flavour, and not salty. The toppings were perfect with a juicy piece of pork and the perfect ramen egg. Definitely would order again and try their other ramens.
