I've been going to KO Boxing shows in Edmonton for years. Most of them are held at the Shaw Conference Centre, which for me, is easy to get to. There is never a bad seat, whether you buy a dinner ticket or sit in the stands. They have beer and drinks for sale throughout the fights, as well as a snack bar. I know a lot of the boxers (I used to coach), and at some of the more recent shows, I've enjoyed learning about the boxers I didn't know about. The crowd is usually pretty involved as the bouts are on, rooting for one boxer or another, and in some cases providing a standing ovation when two tough boxers are 'putting on a show'. Lot's of talent and knockouts too - they usually have them every 3 or 4 months and they are always well attended. I've been to some pro shows where I was sitting so far back I couldn't see much - I never have that problem at a KO Boxing show.
