My husband and I were just there for "Live Music Thursday" and as usual, several performers showed up. A couple of younger guys who were very good with the guitar, and not bad singers. "John", one of the regulars sang and played a couple of his pieces, and he basically rocks! An older guy named Dave came in and sung several songs that he wrote, and they were very soulful and moving. (kinda reminded me of an old rocker-type of guy - very cool). A very laid back place, and Bob the owner is a very community-minded guy running a "neighborhood cafe" business. Regulars (and new people) just drop by and say "hi" and grab a coffee. This place is special and we can all help keeps the doors open buy checking this, one of the few locally owned non-chain cafes remaining in Edmonton.

Its kinda loud and their isn't much places to sit in the Cafe when it's packed but its very home-ey. The performances are almost always great and I've heard the coffee is good. Overall very nice place. Only thing I would chang is the location cause its hard to find.

What a cool little place. Small venue with some old world charm of brick and glass brick, board games, crib boards... Saw a jazz band playing tonight and they said the house gives the bands full cover! It's the only time the cafe sells liquor, and they only had beer and wine. Otherwise they have lattes, tea, coffee, soft drinks, soup, panini, cinnamon rolls and a few other items. Small selection but my friend said the Thai soup was really tasty. Will go again!

Really charming locale. Down to earth, friendly staff, and relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay a while longer. Liberal, artsy, and a host and champion of local musicians. I will definitely be back.

It's a good open mic on Thursday night.

This cafe is not covid friendly with no mask wearing by the owner and all the people who go there. Its dangerous for covid-19 because all the recovering addicts go there. The AADAC building is right next door and Grant Mcewan College is across the street. The location is bad with homeless and street people. On top of that the Owner who is the only one working there makes and serves food with no mask and has no plastic barriers when sitting in the cafe. Pretty much follows none of the Covid restrictions or mandatory. He also opens his business when businesses are not allowed to be open during lockdown. He says he got his first vaccine. Although that could be a lie. He lets anyone come up to him in the cafe with no mask and talks to everyone with no mask. As well Bob takes his life problems out on one person. So beware of angry outbursts. I will never go there again. I dont recommend you go there either. I been going therr since I was 19 years old. Now its the worst place in the city of Edmonton.

Great atmosphere. So cozy and quaint. Love the character and friendly staff. Will go back and bring my friends and maybe even my kids to play some games and add some more art for the wall!
