I had a great experience with Ortus Security & Automation. I built a new home and wanted to add an alarm, home automation (google home), and multiple TV setups. I dealt with Austin and sat down with him on a few different occasions and threw out my ideas of what I wanted to accomplish and was looking for. He did a great job listening and giving me other ideas with other jobs they have done. Things he didn't know he was able to get the answer in a timely matter. When it came to installation Austin and Wayne come out and worked their magic of putting it together and making my new home come to life. I was able to accomplish everything I wanted and then some. Great experience along with top notch service. I highly recommend Ortus and all their services. Not only did they do a great job with everything but I was also able to make a couple new friends. Austin and Wayne have been great to deal with when ever I’ve had to ever since I took possession of my house over 5 years ago. I made the dumb mistake of switching over to TELUS to try their service and after a week of getting no where on the install, I canceled my service with them and went right back to Ortus. Should have never left but they were great to me and went above and beyond to get me back up and running again. I’ve been extremely lucky that they’ve been good to me and their service has been great throughout. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone.
I would highly recommend anyone sit down with Fran at Ortus to discuss not just security systems, but the amazing things they can do with home automation. I feel that even as a Luddite the stuff in their show room is pretty cool and that unifying the systems would not be overly complex and technical. And they have a really impressive array of shades and blinds that make your house look like a home - not a penitentiary. Definitely worth a consultation if you are thinking of automating your life.
