Had my grad dress hemmed in a very reasonable amount of time for an affordable price. Very impressed with the work and care taken into the alteration.
Very friendly, took 2 full suits in to be dry-cleaned and they came back perfectly. The owner is very friendly and hand checks everything. I have used a cleaner close by and it was terrible. This really turned my dry cleaning views around! Excellent service! And to the reviews about not answering the phone, I get it's usually steady busy and they give full attention to the customers in the store!
I came here off a limb when I got quoted 120 to tailor my suit a the tailor across the street, but she quoted me 20 to tailor the suit and she did not disappoint, fit perfectly. Then my girlfriend got her blazer dry cleaned and did a great job with that, then I got my other suit dry cleaned by her and both times it has come out looking great. And on my last visit I got a zipper replaced by her and she did an amazing job replacing the zipper looks like it’s brand new, and quite frankly better then originally. She’s a very honest person and means well, I don’t know why some people have been so hard on her. I’ve only ever had great experiences and never feel ripped off.
I had multiple shirts and a custom suit tailored and cleaned and they all came out fantastic. I had some shirts that were quite large now since I've lost a considerable amount of weight since purchasing them, she advised me not to spend the money on them and just to buy new shirts if I was going to spend that kind of money. I appreciate that type of honesty.
Awful bad customer service and doesn't know what she's doing on simple sewing issues won't go more into detail previous owner was great end up going there because it was the old owner's business big mistake
I went in with a 400 dress for a wedding. When I picked up the dress I found that the inner lining was tailored well but the outer layer was over an inch longer than the rest in length. I called the shop to see if we could rectify this and was yelled at (literally) by the woman and told to bring it in. I did so and stood there for several minutes while the woman yelled at me and continuously interrupted me while I tried to explain why I was disappointed in the very expensive alterations. She told me repeatedly that that is how the dress is supposed to be. When I explained that the outer layer is so long that it is dragging on the floor still and I am stepping on it, she raised her voice again told me she did a good job. Under no circumstance will I ever return here. This is was unreasonably poor service for a poorly done job. I took the dress to Ellerslie tailors after and she immediately noticed that not only is the outside layer way too long, but it’s also cut lopsided. The right side goes about half an inch higher than the left. Do not give them your business.
