Went here because of the good reviews. MAJOR issues with rebuilt Pontiac 400. Summary.... dropped off engine in winter, picked up in spring, installed and wouldn't start.....told repeatedly by promax it was a timing issue! Had to tow car to garage to get a mechanic to explain to them that it wasn't a timing issue! Pull engine, drive 4.5 hours to find out it was something internal. Had to wait for them to find replacement block (trying to start it trashed my block somehow?) and then wait for it to finally get rebuilt, get engine back in fall...summer over! Mistakes happen, however seeing as it wasn't my fault I think moving mine up in priority wouldn't be an unrealistic request. When I expressed my displeasure in the urgency of getting my engine back in what is now August, I was basically told if I didn't like it I could drive down and pick up my f*****g engine right now (all in pieces) now I see lots of good reviews and thats fine. However, my experience was absolutely terrible and expensive to say the very least and can honestly say one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
