If you think the service was bad, Try being an employee. Management is a revolving door of incompetence. Their delivery vans are unmaintained death traps and they care so little about the well-being of the drivers that they don't put winter tires on their RWD beater trucks. Naturally in Edmonton these trucks get stuck very easily. So they end up calling tow trucks A LOT! So much so that the company credit card goes over the limit, And they make the drivers pay for it out of their own pocket!! They say they'll reinburse you. But be prepared to hassle them everyday for weeks to get your money back. No wonder everything is so over priced!

Spud supports local businesses, is focused on sustainability, and constantly strives to ameliorate itself. Almost everything I order is very high quality, but if I ever have an issue, it is dealt with promptly and very reasonably. The convenient delivery and great staff is also a plus. We love Spud!

Shopping can have its challenges when you’re a mom with a little one so thank you spud! I’ve found it very convenient to have groceries delivered to our home. Big supporter of buying locally. Great selection! I do rely on spud for fresh organic produce. Especially when making baby food. Not a fan of getting a product that will be past its due date shortly after receiving it or milk that will expire in less than a week. I’ve had a few bad onions and maybe some frozen bananas as they went greenish brown with in a day. Overall I’m still satisfied with the service and will continue to order. Thanks again spud for making things a bit easier.

Don't get what you asked for, and even better, they still charge you! Been at this with Spud.ca for nearly a year. The idea behind Spud.ca is wonderful: source as many organic products from local producers, help the environment, help the farmers, help consumers. The edict is beautiful; the execution is not so pretty. Over four-dozen orders on, this is a pattern that continually repeats itself. My latest order this past Friday was missing over 15 items: 15 items for which I was charged. Yes, there is something to be said for the convenience of ordering online; but if you don't get what you asked for, have to go out to supermarket anyway to make up for their errors, and on top of all of that have the additional hassle of having to deal with a lazy and uncaring customer service team who appears to take joy in gas-lighting their patrons, what's the point? Don't bother emailing the owner Peter. I tried that. He doesn't care either.

My last spud order was pathetic at best. I understand the high demand for their service right now and would have been forgiving on one or two issues but more then half the box went directly into the garbage. My hand went directly through a rotten grapefruit when I reached in the box. My lettuce was completely useless and missing some other items. Never again.
