Beautiful old building that has been in downtown Edmonton since 1915. It was the tallest building in Edmonton for a time. It has had different incarnations over the years and so today it is residences on the upper floors and restaurant and retail businesses on the main floor. I work downtown so I pass by this building quite often and have always enjoyed its architecture. It’s one of the few historical buildings left so it’s nice that its still around

It looks lovely. I don’t see the fire escapes/catwalks. No balconies so a cat walk would be fine
A friend was visiting and had an air bnb for 5 days. Small loft style apartment that was quite nice. Was on 5th floor and place had large bright windows. The only annoying thing was the people that clear sidewalks with leaf blowers started at 4am. Can't hear the neighbours except in the hallway, and typical downtown noise from outside. But building is neat, built in 1915 (I think). Old and charming.
Great character building amidst a beautiful Edmonton shyline!
