A fantastic , well-stocked shop with lovely helpful staff. They did all of our booklists at a substantial discount, and I also like to pop in here to buy fun, interesting presents. I think the 1 star review must have the wrong place !! These guys are great !

We feel so fortunate to have found this shop. Initially I popped in now and again and found fun items to engage my six year old son. Then we found out our son had vision problems, and had gross and fine motor delay, all of which had impaired his progress in reading and writing. We knew for some time that something was wrong, but he was quite behind in some areas before we worked out the problem! That's when the Education Store really became a partner in working to help our son. We saw an OT, and a lot of the items recommended to aid progress were sourced from the Education Store. The prices are very reasonable, and now our OT even goes there to get things! Getting information from Karina at the shop was so valuable. I could ask Karina when I experienced a problem or roadblock with helping my son to learn, and she made recommendations to help us, which often didn't involve buying things, just a change of approach. Eventually we realised that our son needed more learning help than his school and homework could provide, and we asked Karina for some tutoring. That's when we made a real breakthrough. We are so thrilled to see him happy to sit and read with us now, rather than get anxious and make excuses. Karina made learning the basics fun, and it was tailored to things he'd missed out on when he couldn't see well. She is patient, kind and supportive of him, and seems to genuinely see and appreciate our boy as the little person that he is, and enjoy his progress. Our son was worried about going to see Karina for tutoring the first time, but no problems at all with getting him back after that. "It's good", he says. Now at home we can concentrate on just playing learning games, doing the motor and physical games and having fun. Karina has been a fantastic source of information, she isn't pushy, and as I said, we feel very lucky to have found this fun little shop. A fantastic resource!

If you're after primary resources, this place is good. Secondary resources are minimal.
