This place is a absolute joke of business establishment! Bought a new vehicle 5 years ago that the dealership financed my loan with this financial institute. Things started off well with them, they sent me 3 years of receipt vouchers that I would send in with my payment and would keep the carbon copy for my records. This was also a great reminder with payment due dates as well. I tried to contact them 3 different times after I ran out of them to request more but never received them. I also moved out of state (Maryland) and re-registered my vehicle with my new state and they acted like no human have ever did this before because it was like pulling teeth to get them to send a copy of the title to the new state's DMV. They also pretended like they never got my new address when I gave it to them even though they constantly were sending me junk mail every month asking me to get their life insurance. When I was getting ready to mail them my last payment to pay off the loan, I actually called them to confirm the exact amount due so there was no confusion or future bill...they then began to tell me of a savings account overdue fee that I owed. I never opened this account with them and she said it was automatically done for me upon getting the vehicle loan, which I was never told nor ever received a statement for the alleged account. So I had to pay this fee along with my last vehicle payment or they weren't going to send me the original vehicle title. I paid the fee then a few weeks later they finally sent me my title and then a month later they sent me a check for the amount that was left over in the account, which I never opened or ever put any money into it...since I never knew it existed. This is the worst financial institute I have ever dealt with, by far! You're almost better trusting someone running a cash register out of their garage.

This young lady took the time to help me set up my digital account and gave me my balance. She was very helpful and kind.

To whom it may concern: I would like to bring to your attention the excellent customer service I received recently from two of the employees , Ms. Tadosha Brooks and Mr. Sean Collins, at the Greenbelt office. Recently, I visited there for a routine transaction. While there, Mr. Collins took the initiative to inform me that I had an old VISA card, one that was issued years ago. Mr. Collins stated that a new VISA card might provide we with a reduced interest rate if I qualified. I told him was interested. Mr. Collins took my information and started the process. Afterwards, Mr. Collins informed me that Ms. Brooks would be contacting me on the following day with a result. As promised, Ms. Brooks contacted me with the good news that my application had been approved and that my new VISA card would be arriving soon. I have been a loyal member of this credit union since 1985 and I have always enjoyed great service from the employees. However, the efforts of Ms. Brooks and Mr. Collins deserve special recognition. These employees and others like them are the reason why I continue to be a loyal member.

Excellent customer service rendered due to an oversight with checking account. Manager and associate were helpful in resolving the issue.

Terrible customer service. They’ve lost my payments, “forgot” to send me my refund, and are all over are just outdated and unhelpful. Only use if you’re absolutely desperate but only as a last resort. Oh and they’ll hang up the phone on you after being on hold too!
