Wonderful family fun, we went today and it was great. Our children loved the train ride. The staff were friendly and very sociable. We were on the last ride of the day and had the playground all to ourselves after. Will be coming back again, especially in the summer and will bring a packed lunch. Thanks all

Great little steam railway and definitely a hidden gem that we found by chance. We had a great ride on the train spotting different animals, gnomes etc along the way. The staff were very professional and friendly and the shop was reasonable. Great little seating and play area for children. Very reasonably priced. Would be a good idea if a leaflet/book regarding the history of the train could be produced. My little boy as not stopped wearing his engine driver hat since he left. Thank you so much for a great time.
Brilliant little attraction. Train line doesn't currently go very far but only 2 per person and there are plans to extend the line. There is a nice little play area with bouncy castle and zip line. The smaller play area has ride on toys, slides, swings, play houses- all a little well used but enough variety for the kiddies. Little shop sells some souvenirs and snacks/drinks.
A fun place to visit and great value for money(I have given an extra star for value). They railway itself is fairly short but there is a play area and other attractions, like remote controlled boats. You can also buy drinks and snacks from the ticket office.
So you have a small children, who like the trains? Visit this tiny steam train station and take one or two ride. It's really affordable, the playground is perfect for the small ones... We really loved it
Great place. Lovely hot chocolate on the first chillier day of the summer. Little train ride (only goes half way around atm). Brilliant play area esp for under 5s with loads of ride one, little houses and climbing equipment. Stuff for older ones too e.g zip line, climbing wall. You can drive a remote control boat on a little fish pond. Staff are so friendly. Free parking and play. Just pay the train.
A good place to spend a Sunday afternoon
Took two of our grandchildren there today, aged 5 and 7. The 5 year old is train mad so was so excited. Staff were very friendly and talked to him, giving him a small job to do on the ride. The ride was short but enjoyable with the engine whistles, going through a tunnel, changing points, all the things a child likes. Social distancing adhered to and guidelines in place. A small play area to go on while waiting for the train ride. Would certainly recommend this attraction for a visit for younger children. Thank you for a good visit.
