John is an honest mechanic who cares about his customers. He doesn't suggest more work than what is needed. My Tesla does not need most services but it does require special care to lift it and change the tires and I take it to Family Auto because I know they will do a great job.

Terrible workman ship. Purchased a vehicle from this place that they have been working on for years. I was given work orders stating that the transmission lines have been replaced as well as the transmission cooler. Well the transmission lines were pieced together with rubber fuel line it looks like a child did it and the transmission cooler that they just replaced is entirely the wrong one. Now because of these issues ive had to take the vehicle to a professional transmission shop and pay 2300 because the transmission overheated because of the wrong cooler and burnt up the whole transmission. Not professional. Do not take your vehicle here for service by any means.
I do alot of my own work to my vehicle's. Family auto is the only place I trust to work on my vehicles, and get it done right the first time. I never had any problems with dealing with the staff or the owner John very professional! The name says it all FAMILY AUTO.

I love the guys at Family Auto. My husband and I take our cars here and have for years. They’ve always been fair and honest with us. They fit us in any time we need them and they’re efficient so we don’t go days without a car. The best part is that the guys don’t talk down to me because I’m a woman. I’ve gone to shops where they would talk to me like I was a 5 year old. Not these guys. Even when I allegedly hit a pothole at 45 mph and cracked my a piece of the tire area. (I forget exactly what piece it was, but I digress). Allegedly. They’re awesome here and I highly recommend them.
