Amazing experience! Stayed overnight at this super cozy family-owed vintage hotel from 1836 in a tiny German town located between Hanover and Hamburg. Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere, their authentic restaurant with local produce and their superior service. Always a pleasure to stumble upon a gem like this! You can tell that the people behind it love what they are doing, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Im a fussy sleeper, normally I cant sleep anywhere new. But I haven't slept this well since ages, even at my home! Its very quiet, very safe and the down pillows/blankets are really comfortable. Breakfast was great too, sitting there among vintage furniture, having tea (which they have a huge selection of) with local honey and homemade jam feels like you're visiting your distant relatives. That's how comfortable and homeley this place is! Also, they provided me a kettle of hot water for tea, so I could take it to my room with me. I also happened to need some plaster for a small cut - the friendly receptionist instantly provided me it and even asked if I was okay. I really felt cared about here, like I wasnt just another customer.

Sehr nettes Hotel mit freundlichen Besitzern. Küche sehr gut, ebenso das Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls nett und individuell eingerichtet. TV selbst im Bad Parkplätze vorhanden WLAN funktioniert ebenfalls sehr gut Leider kein Aufzug- das ist aber das einzige was ich bemängeln könnte
Wir sind heute (am 30.08.20) dort gewesen. Erst auf Nachfrage anderer Gäste,kam überhaupt eine Bedienung raus. Wir bekamen die Speisekarte und das war s leider. Trotz weiteren 20 Minuten warten,passierte nichts. Doch,Stop-ein älteres Ehepaar das drinnen gesessen hatte,ging. Mit den Worten- hier wird man nicht bedient sondern wartet ewig. Wir sind dann auch gegangen und auf dem Parkplatz erreichte uns das Pärchen das wegen der Speisekarten gefragt hatte,auf weitere Frage ob man nun bedient wird oder man gehen soll,wie schon andere ,soll Bedienung gesagt haben:Pech,dann gehen Sie doch.Gäste,die angekommen sind als wir gingen,sind ebenfalls zum Parkplatz zurückgekommen. In der Zeit in der wir da waren,sind im Ganzen 4 Pärchen gegangen ohne bedient zu werden. Alle waren mit der Absicht etwas zu Essen dort. Ich hoffe es lag nur am heutigen Personal,welches vom Haus evtl aber mal etwas genauer ausgesucht oder geschult werden sollte. Wir werden hier sicher nicht wieder anhalten.
