Old rustic hotel sits in the lake with a beach and a family owned feel, very cute if you don’t mind old decor and no cell signal. Waking up to breath taking views makes staying here worth it. Their breakfast menu is simple home cooked style food is good as is the price. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location is short drive to shops, restaurants and beautiful bays and beaches.

What a great little spot!!! Right after I told my husband I was practically expecting Baby to be in a corner, we turned the corner and there she was! They had a nice pool, and bikes we borrowed to go down to the beach area. We drive just a bit down the peninsula to see an amazing sunset from just off the road. We also walked down the pier a phew times to see more stars than you could think we're possible from that location. Everything was close and convenient for exploring the whole peninsula.
This place literally deserves negative stars. At first you walk in and think oh this is kind of charming and then you look closer and its filthy, covered in Cob webs, dust, dirt, spiders, etc. And the staff was anything but nice. We had spoke to several other guests that could not wait to leave and that were refused money back if they chose not to stay. The pictures I have provided don't show barely enough at how gross this place was. The restaurant was horrible my boyfriend and I ordered the prime rib special, mine was not ok only over cooked but tasted like soap and his was almost well done, we both ordered medium rare. The waitress was sweet and asked us if we would like anything else and I told her I would still like the prime rib but medium rare. Her manager came over to the table a few minutes later telling us that we could not get our prime rib and more rare than it was because they were pre cut and cooked more on the medium side. If that's the case they should tell you on advance and who does that?? Sew! When we said never mind and we wouldn't get anything else the manager lady got very upset and rude and gave us the cold shoulder after that. When we woke up in the morning it was only to realize that the sheets were so old and fraying and probably dry rotted that we ended up on the very old disgusting bare mattress. We did not shower here as the bathroom was disgusting, the floors were dirty the shower was Mildewed and had someone else's used shampoo bottle in it. When we checked out they never even asked us how our stay was. Our son said the only reason this place didn't have "bad bugs" was because the "bed bugs" were too afraid to stay there too! I wouldn't recommend this place if it were the last place standing in Door County! Please save yourself your money stay somewhere else, and if everything else is booked go camping or sleep in your car. Also they charge you a 1.00 for like a 3oz cup of coffee and if you want a refill its 50 cents!
Super cool old school place. Super friendly staff/owners. Walking distance to town. Breakfast was good. Had fun at the bar but only local channels on the tv. Great views.
Unfortunately this resort is in great need of the basic remodeling and essential renovations. It is terribly out dated. The mattresses and bedding are at least 30 years old. It does have a bit of charm but that's the only compliment I can come up with. We canceled our second night of our two night stay. We actually felt bad for the front desk people. We weren't the only dissatisfied guests by far. Back in the day "the 50's" I'm sure it was awesome.
This is a step back in time. Location is spectacular on the waters of Green Bay. Good restaurant in the lodge. Interesting place for sure. If you need modern amenities this is not for you.
Went here with Family on a weekend trip. Beautiful View of the Lake, Staff was friendly and kind. Rooms were cleaned, cleaning staff went above and beyond. The only downside was the beds are a bit uncomfortable when you first lay down on them. Otherwise, beautiful spot, family friendly, had a beach and heated pool. Absolutely beautiful view to watch the sunrise and set. Will be back Next Year!
Only played the golf course which was and decent priced. Service and decent clubhouse were great. They have 36 holes with varying degrees of difficulty. I played blue and red for my 18; blue for the scenery (which didn't disappoint) and then red to make it easier at the end. Greens played well. Wildlife all around too....had a dozen turkey cross. Great place to visit.
