Pretty area with large parking with the Egtved girls burial mound and a center containing information about the Bronze Age girl. She is housed at the National Museum in Copenhagen, but here at the grave site you can read more about her presumed personal story.

How can one rate such a thing? The girl's story, and that of her child (assumed) must rate more than a row of stars, even if that story must be of our imagining, from the small amount of information, posted around the site and the atmospheric location. The exhibit was closed, probably because it is winter, I imagine. It motivates me to go to the national museum to view the remains.
The Egtved Girl (c. 1390–1370 BC) was a Nordic Bronze Age girl whose well-preserved remains were discovered outside Egtved, Denmark in 1921. Aged 16–18 at death, she was slim, 160 centimeters tall , had short, blond hair and well-trimmed nails. Her burial has been dated by dendrochronology to 1370 BC. She was discovered together with cremated remains of a child in a barrow approximately 30m wide and 4m high. Only the girl's hair, brain, teeth, nails and a little of her skin remain preserved.
