Absolutely terrible customer service. I waited 2 weeks to get a new battery because that was the soonest appt for all locations. When I got there, he told me I’d need to leave my phone overnight, and he wasn’t sure when he’d even get to it because he had too many appts that he was behind on last night, and appts first thing today. I had been quoted a 2 hour wait when I scheduled the appt. I, like so many people right now, work from home and cannot leave my phone there for an unknown amount of time. I need my phone to be able to work. The only other option he gave me was to wait another 2 weeks for the next available appt time. I asked him to speak to his manager, but the geek squad manager wasn’t there last night. Instead, he went to the sales manager and was told that I needed to call/come back the next day and “make it the geek squad managers problem”. Absolutely terrible customer service, and from a manager! I have now been waiting on hold for 45 minutes because I can’t go there while I’m working, but this is the 3rd time I’ve tried to get through to them with no answer. When I was there last night, so many of their employees were grouped together near the front doing nothing. One guy was pacing around BORED even. So why is it taking nearly an hour just for someone to answer the phone?

There’s an overnight wait for a cracked phone screen repair WITH an appointment. HOWWWWW?!!!! This is a 20-30 min thing that should’ve been done during my “appointment” ...common sense would be to let the customer know AHEAD OF TIME in order to prepare. Stick to Apple for Apple care services.

This store has 0 customer service. I purchased total tech support and I can’t even reach the store for a question much less geek squad. Very very unacceptable. Will not recommend.
Geek Squad (atleast for this location) displayed terrible customer service. Brought in my Xbox one in for repair and as I received it back they did not give it back as I turned it in. I had to pleade for [MY] power cord and when they did give it back they had no idea what happen to it which was replaced by a bad condition power cord that was not mine. Furthermore, they did not return a disc (GTA V) that had been stuck in the system nor was I warned before handed they would keep it if so. Also, included NOT being in the box as I provided them with. Do what you want but be careful and know your rules/regulations before you officially leave them under supervision of your possession(s). If I could I give them absolutely 0 stars.
Right from the start Best Buy was GREAT! They have a person at the door who greets you and can direct you where you need to go, all of their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the fact that they have people who troubleshoot equipment--often for FREE is off the charts! I wouldnt go anywhere else

Car stereo install: Ordered everything through Best Buy. Paid all additional labor and connectors required for install Day of install we review everything of where the USB for the stereo is getting installed and they agree to use the specific cable I brought (nice heavy gauge for good signal for Android auto), and they mention that I didn't pay for the steering wheel control adapter installation (big must for me) I told them that the order was reviewed at the time I paid for the stereo (a week before the appointment) and they okay we will see what we can do. I venture over to the mall and 2.5 hrs later they call me saying it's done... Okay so I ask how it went and they said they didn't install the steering wheel control adapter and they used the USB that came with the stereo instead of the one I provided. What the...!! The two things I we mention prior to the install they didn't do!! So I can rig up the USB and splice together my wire (it's got a nice flush mount) but the control adapter I was ticked off about. Left the car with them to have it torn apart and installed. Will be fighting the 60 they want to charge for it Please do not ever got to Beat Buy for any computer or stereo installation/maintenance, they really are as bad as their reputation holds them to be. Your local audio guy will be much nicer and professional instead of the unprofessional/rude kids working at Best Buy. Update: they are knocking the extra installation cost off the price of the stereo.
