SDGE has abandoned its customers availability to their live customer service reps for FAQ, and many menus that many times do not address an issue you are trying to resolve. Even after using and online chat source I was told my issue would be reported and it would take only a few days to fix. That was a week ago. Now I can't reach a rep in the live chatroom. Why do companies think they need to fix things that are working???

There's no where else to complain so I'll complain here. The SDGE Autopay system is jacked up. I cancelled autopay this month because I wanted to pay my bill early. However, the autopay still went through later in the month so I had to pay double in one month. AUTOPAY SHOULDNT GO THROUGH IF THERE IS NO BALANCE! The refund system is useless, you only refund through check which takes 10 days. By then my next bill will be due. Do better.

one day I accompanied my manager to this sdge to have important discuss about evicted neighbors. Those former neighbors left the electricity bills unpaid in very huge amount. It was revealed that they never been paying the bills during living there (for several years). It was so surprising that SDGE never disconnect the electricity while they lived there. For that reason, SDGE had disconnected the electricity to that house and requested the manager to take over the bills by paying the downpayment and some percentage of the bills. My manager refused it and SDGE requested the proof that those neighbors have been evicted. On that day we visited, office will be closed soon. My manager said that she has the proof but she needs to drive back home to get it and it took 50 minutes to back and they will be closed. Luckily, I have it on my smartphone's picture gallery. Although it was blurry, but readable. The female staff made us easy and quick process on that day. She accepted it via email. All the requested has been done and cleared. Thanks to her.
