I was researching local restaurants to avoid tourist traps in Barcelona and came across this place on TrioAdvisor. It's a cute little place, in a little side road, and is definitely a local eatery. In my opinion, it was probably Lu the best meal we had in Barcelona. The waitress was super friendly and spoke enough English for us to communicate. We ordered tapas and everything was great, in particular the roasted peppers (pimientos dear padron). The house red wine also went down very well. I would absolutely recommend this place. It's quite small, so try to visit during their quiet hours. Friendly staff, great service, reasonable prices and great food. Thanks!

Great tapas and great prices, couldn't recommend this place more!
Delicious. Would love to return..
Great place when exploring the little Barcelona streets! Only one kind of beer, but it's perfect. They play Spanish music, which is a plus. Tasty empanadas.
Really good place. It’s a hole in the wall and it feels really authentic. The price is fair, the staff is kind, and the peppers are delicious. I just wish the empanadas were hot.
Terrific local feel, reasonable price, enjoyed the food. Not upmarket perfect
Amazing good, great price and lovely cosy atmosphere. We had a carafe of wine, soup, empanada and tapas and it was less than 30 for both of us! Perfect hidden gem
As someone other mentioned the rating is a bit overrated! The food is stable but definitely not the best I've eaten in Barcelona! The prices are fair, lower than many other restaurants. The waiter was kind and the service fast. At the end of the day you go can go there if you stay more days or a week in Barcelona but I wouldn't recommend it if you only have a few days. There are definitely better options.
