The food was ok, rice needed a little more flavor and the chicken was bland. The pork was made fresh but over cooked. The pieces were fulI of fat. Read the reviews and thought it looked great. The tostones were not flat enough or crispy. Last they need a menu. They didn't have empanadas or any of the fried items because they were done. It was barely 3 on a Saturday. It''s the equivalent of eating at a friends house that over charged you.

I was looking at places to eat and this popped up so I decided to go with it, all I can say is this is my new favorite place to eat. Its also very cheap and they had all the food I ordered cooked to perfection and it was my first time trying them also

It's rare that I give any business a 5-star rating. That being said I'd like to start off saying that their food has a home cooked taste and is amazing! Right down to there rice. Another thing I usually don't get rice on my plate I usually substitute rice for something different at other places due to lack of flavor, but not in this case there rice not only had a good taste bat also was not dried up like most local places. I could go on but I'll end the review right here by saying there prices are unbeatable you get so much for 6-8 plates with 2 sides and a meat. And extra 2 for an extra meat. Thank you again El Jibarito Resturant for making my day and my lunch!

Awesome spot. Foods so genuine, I thought my moms was in the back cheffing it up. Polite, friendly service and my first impression was how well lit and clean the place was. Drove an hour from Boxboro and will definitely be returning so long as I'm in Mass.
