This deli offers the best option for cheap, ready traditional dishes to take out. I really recommend the Spanish Flan, the squid salad and the ropa vieja (diced meat with chickpeas in a lovely souce). We have been going there several times on more than one holiday to Tenerife, even when we didn't stay in el Medano. On the downside, staff is not very friendly and a lot of the best dishes are not always available.
Delicious meals, canarian kitchen, to take away. Great price. Great chose, fresh every day changing. Every time I am in El Medano I go there.

Popular with locals and tourists alike, this take-away deli offers loads of pre-cooked treats for you to take home or to the beach. We usually grab some Russian Salad and fresh bread when we visit. They also do sweet options as well as drinks and fresh roast whoile chickens. Prices are not bad but the queues can put some off, so plan ahead and avoid the busy periods.
