Ate here twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Staff were great. Menu was pretty standard, but food was great. We had 6-8 people and no complaints! Mango crepes were a standout for breakfast. Of course juice and coffee were outstanding. Easy recommend.

Actually came there because of the vegan options. Seems that they recently changed the menu and forgot to add the labels for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free since they were printed at the bottom but the dishes were not labeled. We ordered a smoothie (CRC 2.300), an appetizer salad (CRC 4.800) and some quesadillas (CRC 4.800). I actually liked the taste, portion was ok for an appetizer, but in the end I think it's too pricey. When we'd spent the same amount for example in the falafel bar we would have left full for the rest of the day. Waitress was quite annoyed and uninterested and was to be honest the weakest part of the entire experience. She cleared the dishes/glass once somebody finished although the others still were eating all the time. After we finished eating she asked us one time if we want anything else. The second time maybe 2-3 minutes later she asked which we denied she just asked: so the bill? although we still had water in the glass. To summarize: I was not impressed and would not come a second time.
My kids actually ate their chicken rice and vegetables! This place was good! I only deducted a star because my fish of the day tasted a little...fishy. I mean to say it tasted maybe a little old. Not inedible, it was still delicious, but for the price I would have expected a bit fresher fish. Cute patio, you are right on the main road so it is LOUD but I’m not going to deduct a star for that because the food was good... and it’s a restaurant not a spa or hotel.
Breakfast was delicious! Had the Tico and Pancakes with a hazelnut latte. The back patio has a lovely garden view. Bonus points for being open early in the morning too! There are 3 parking spots up front, so it does fill up quickly if driving.
The prices are not too bad. The food portions are fair and the quality is good. The back patio is quiet and charming. There is no sunset view and the traffic is noisy out front.
Best food I had in Manuel Antonio, and no more expensive than most of the other restaurants. Food is high quality with delicious sauces, desserts were fantastic (cheesecake and brownie with ice cream), and really good local craft beer. They also sell their own coffee, and I've heard their breakfast is very good as well.
Delicious coffee and breakfast! The place is also super cute. They open early which was nice because we were able to enjoy a real meal before heading to Manuel Antonio NP.
