They did not want to pay the amount into my credit card account, because it’s better for them to take a fee for cash, of course. Extremely rude staff throughout the airport- one of the worst in Europe! A great shame for Barcelona!

#upd: we tried again the service in barcelona city on placa catalunya, where we got ample info on what we shall do. and this time it went better so we got back not full refund as we expected but with some issues )) in any case, we learned something this time and next time will be even clever #original review: i posted it already but looks like it didn't go through. here we go again: all this tax refund is really fake and scam. especially if you want to get back in cash. me and my wife bought a lot of stuff and already were wearing it when approached the refund desk. first of all it wasn't accepted that we were wearing stuff. when arguing we were told in very insulting manner to "go away to our country". well... this ridiculous!!!! burn in hell you greedy facists with no any respect to people that waited in queue for 40 minutes. never again!!!!!

We had been waiting in line for hours to get our refund; when we finally got there, it all had to suddenly go super quick and the lady at counter (12.9.18) clearly took advantage of the utter stress this refund causes to the people waiting in line: she refunded us half of what was stated on the paper. We only realised when we were far away.

Una estrella es mucho para describir el pésimo servicio que nos prestaron en la oficina de T2 del aeropuerto de Barcelona el dia 13 de septiembre. La chica era muy borde, hablaba de manera grosera y insultante, casi gritando. No sé quién contrata a la gente como esa maleducada, pero si fuera su jefe, ya estaría en la calle por tratar a los clientes de lo peor modo posible.

Поставили специальные терминалы, позволяющие сканировать квитанции и далее не стоять в очереди за штампом на таможню. У нас автоматически прошли не все квитанции, 2 из 10 терминал не принял к сканированию и отправил к таможеннику. У таможенника я решил проставить печати на всех квитанциях, раз уж отстоял очередь (в очереди стояли час!). Таможенник быстрым взглядом гланул на квитации, и сразу же отложил те, которые должны пройти через терминал, и сообщил, что на них печать не нужна, а нужно их сканировать и сразу же отправлять к оператору такс фри.
