Nestled in a beautiful azure lagoon on the pristine north pacific coast of Nicaragua, this picturesque resort sanctuary offers the luxury and amenities befitting a world class hotel while retaining the “off-the-beaten-path” exclusivity of a remote paradise. Our goal is to provide a unique, and wonderful experience to our guests who are visiting the beautiful country of Nicaragua. The colonial style, luxury boutique hotel consists of two buildings of three stories for a total of 19 suites. Building "Delfin" has four executive suites on each of the first and second floors with the entire third floor comprising the "Presidential Suite". A wide furnished terrace runs the length of the living room. Building "Caballo de Mar" also includes eight suites on first and second floors, but has two "Master Suites" on the third floor which feature adjoining, 300 sq. ft. furnished living rooms. Located in the Yacht Club, the air conditioned restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from a truly imaginative menu. The bar, “El Muelle”, sits directly over the water on a wide, thatched-roof covered deck supported by concrete piers. Gentle off shore breezes and fantastic views across the lagoon make this an ideal outdoor dining experience. Marina Puesta del Sol offers a wide variety of recreational activities. Guided horseback tours are conducted on the properties trails under large canopy trees, and along water’s edge on the wide, open beaches. Guided boat tours are available for the sightseer interested in exploring the intense flora and fauna of the mangrove lined tributaries feeding the lagoon. Stable two-seater kayaks are available for excursions in the lagoon area. Boogie boards and fins are available for guests at the Club de Playa for surfing in the warm waves, and the resort has two tennis courts with tennis equipment available for use. Swim in the two pools available, one at the marina, the other at the Club de Playa.
