Ordered two large cappuccinos and a small one. We got 3 half cups of unsweetened coffee with whipping cream. I was disappointed. I couldnt complain because the were so nice to me. But on the other hand, the place had plenty of customers, the food smelled really good, and the place was very clean. I wont judge them harshly.

I LOVE going to McIntosh Coffee for breakfast! I also enjoy lunch, but their breakfast is my jam! You place your order at the register, then pour up your own drinks and choose your own table. The ladies that work there will bring your food out to you. I highly recommend getting a cup of their house coffee! It is the best in town! If you go at lunch time, try the pasta salad or the grape salad. Very yummy with generous portions. Tip: Don't go here if you are in a hurry to be somewhere else. It is a popular grub spot and usually busy. There is usually at least a 15-20 min wait in the mornings and 20-30 min wait at lunch. (They are not normally open for dinner or on Sundays.) There is also a shop attached to the restaurant - Kreations by Kathy. Lots of cute boutique finds from southern companies: clothes, jewelry, home decor, gifts, snacks. Both McIntosh & Kathy's are highly recommended if you're spending a leisurely morning on the Elberton square! There is street parking (2 hr limit) in front of the restaurant and a parking lot for the rear entrance.
Really appreciated being able to get a cup of coffee and use their WiFi. I live in SC but had to be physically in GA for a recent telemedicine appointment with Emory. My daughter really enjoyed their potato soup that I brought her home.
The gift shop was nice, but the coffee shop... Not so great. The older woman looked grouchy, and the cappuccino was the worst I ever had.
Pasta salad and brownie were good, chicken salad was dry, service needs training in hospitality. Typical small town snobs. Would have spent more money in shop but ladies are not very nice to outsiders.
