First visit here. I'd heard about this place before from two separate sources. Straight away you can see this place is spotless, busy and well run. Had a Large breakfast, it was perfect! Would recommend all day long and Deffo coming back to try specials
I decided to order a bacon and egg sandwich. I have always had a keen observation and since I have trust issues with people and food, I always tend to inspect what I've ordered before I start to eat it. I opened one half of the sandwich and noticed small pieces of mash potato. From looking back I heard the women yell baked potato to a guy who had arrived before me. So it would appear that the same knife used to butter this mans baked potato, (wasn't cleaned off with water, nor exchanged for a new clean knife) and was then used immediately after to butter my toast. This is the only explanation I can possibly think off as to why this happened. Practices such as this should be looked into. People in general expect and certain level of cleanliness, especially when it comes to food....especially! But apart from that. The sandwich was...ok.
Regular in there myself every week!! Too quality food decent prices and friendly staff. .. highly recommended
