We hired Dublin Electricians to install our wiring requirements on a big decking job in Blackrock. Job required uplighters, decking lights on steps and 4 decorative lamp posts. Job was completed on time and on schedule and our client was very happy with the quality of work from them. Avoid! Owner is not a qualified electrician and will quote you based on how much he thinks he can rip you off. I made the mistake of getting them in to do a job, which they did not complete. They wanted to charge me 90 for another call out to finish the job they were supposed to do first time and only fixed it without charging when threatened with being reported to safe electric. How they are registered with them is beyond me.
I've got to say this company was great. I tried calling a couple of companies last Saturday, one the phone went to voicemail and the other no-one until Monday. A main fuse had blown and I had family due over in less than 3 hours. A nice guy called Thomas was there within and hour, had a suitable fuse replaced it and left. Good service!
Brilliant service, very helpful couldn't do enough for me rang today at 6pm even though it was Saturday it is now 20 to 8 power restored in the house just in time for my Saturday night highly recommend 5 stars
Great service. On Saturday the trip went on the fuse board went and wouldn't reset. It affected most things in the kitchen. I tried unplugging things with no joy so I called this company. They sent a man called Thomas out, he was there within the hour he checked everything and it was a fault with washing machine (water in the plug socket) even though it wasn't on at the time. He showed me where the water had traveled down and changed the socket. Everything was then back to normal then.
I rang up at 7:58 pm the night before a dinner party. I was told that all electricians were on jobs at the moment. That if I texted over my details he would have someone over in the morning. Well after ringing again at 9:50 am to be told someone would be out by noon. Then at 12:19 pm I rang up to be told someone be out within a half an hour. At 12:29 pm, the man who answered the phone tells me he would have someone out there, but and I quote, 'IN FAIRNESS YOU DID RING LAST NIGHT.' Well in fairness and European law of Freedom of Expression, I am telling you and others to NOT use this company as the customer service is horrible. In fairness there was an electrician who did finally show up at 1:31 pm. He told me that I he was told I had just called this morning. I said no, in fairness, I did not as I phoned up at 7:58 pm last night and stressed that I was hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. In fairness, when the man did arrive, I said I was not going to use their service based on their customer service. He apologised. I rang up another electrician who I found online who knows the owner of this business and my new electrician was here in 20 minutes. IN FAIRNESS, WHEN YOU ADVERTISE 24/HOUR SERVICE THEN HAVE ELECTRICIANS WHO CAN WORK AT ANY GIVEN POINT DURING THAT 24 HOURS NO MATTER THE JOB!!!! In Fairness, I am just saying. Horrible experience.
