My wife and I booked a half-day experience here while celebrating our one year wedding anniversary in Lake Placid. The service was excellent, right from booking over the phone to the day of. They send you a text message to confirm your appointment date and time, plus a reminder the day of, which is nice; and the appointments started right on time. The massage was fantastic, Tony knows what he's doing - one of the best massages I've had; and the woman who did our facials (Shauna) was really nice, she gave my wife lots of good advice about her skin (but wasn't just trying to sell us stuff). The manicures and pedicures were also great, the staff were all very friendly and we really enjoyed spending a few hours with them! We would absolutely come back here if we do another weekend getaway in Lake Placid!

The staff and services were amazing .. My skin feels so soft and is glowing. Someone outside of the building was doing construction which made a little noise. As soon as I finished my service, they apologized and gave me a discount. I will come back again next time I am in town .

I would not recommend this salon. I scheduled four appointments for my bridesmaids last weekend for my wedding and confirmed 2 weeks prior. When my Matron of Honor arrived for her appointment she was told "Sarah" called and was very rude and cancelled all of the appointments. My name is Sandy, not Sarah. They confused me with another person and cancelled all of my appointments. They were unapologetic, but they ended up calling another local salon (River Rock Salon) and getting my bridesmaids in there for hair appointments. The other salon was fantastic and did an amazing job in a pinch thank goodness! I would recommend going directly to River Rock Salon. Skip Element. To be fair, I will say after my bridesmaids left for the other salon someone at Element must have acknowledged the mistake because Element did send mimosas over to to my bridal party at River Rock Salon.

I have been a client of Elements for approximately two years. I am absolutely delighted with the healthy transformation of my hair! Michelle introduced me to Aveda color, and created am outstanding shade that always receives compliments. I have recently been in the hands of both Andrea and Jacinda, who each took it to a new, exciting level! They're fantastic! My hair is healthier, and longer than ever thanks to my girls!

My daughter showed up on time & waited for 20 min. This organization Spa is not interested in customer relations or service. It’s only interested in charging your credit card money. We showed up and we didn’t cancel and we tried hard to work with them but they are not interested. On to the next customer to make more money after they have taken our money with no manicure and pedicure . And if they have taken my daughter in time as her appointment at 12:00 there would not have been any issues. The worst spa ever

There is a reason why Element has such a low rating. This is supposed to be a spa in a resort town, but it is not. They are a retail storefront hair salon trying to sell other services like massages. To me, they are rude, inconsiderate, and unfair. I had a terrible time simply trying to book. Took multiple emails and phone calls. When I wanted to re-book they would not accommodate me but were very fast and clear in stating that if I did not show up for my appointment they would charge my credit card anyway. In fact, I could not make the appointment and they refused to rebook me. They then charged my credit card. If I were a local I would bring them to small claims court, but since I am not local they get away with simply stealing my money without good reason. Truly criminal in my opinion. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of nice spas in Lake Placid, such as at the Mirror Lake Inn.

Great place to spend the day if it takes that long to get you ready. They have steel whool, metal files, chainsaws everything to get your mug ready for a night out.
