I saw much of the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation that went into last summer's camp, and also saw it in operation. A very well-run, well-organized endeavor with a focus on fun and safety for the kids. The owners and staff work extremely hard to make this a good experience for the kids and for the parents.

My kids loved camp at Elevated Horizons! With fun themes every week and a wide variety of activities everyday they were never bored. And I love that they are spending their time being active and trying new things instead of sitting in front of a screen!
Major concerns with this summer camp this year! Apparently things have changed! Please be weary of where you send your child/children for camp! Nebraska has NO type of regulations concerning places labeled \Camps\ This means camps can basically do what they want even if its not in the best interest of YOUR CHILD!! Like making them eat outside in 100 degree weather with the heat index when there is ample and an sufficient amount of space and tables at the facility for children to eat lunch inside but because Elevated Horizons is just using/renting the space at Moylan Ice Plex and from what was told to me, Moylan Ice Plex does not want \Campers\ eating inside due to due the space provided to Elevated Horizons is not suitable for the amount of \Campers\ registered! Which says to me that they have TO MANY registered campers for the allotted space! Then I was told that it was a cleaning up issue!! That CHILDREN were a little messy and NO ONE wants the responsibility of cleaning up after them even though they are getting paid! Then there was debating that the app on their phone only says its 90! Are they for real!!??!! How many excuses does one have to give?? I mean I'm all about children being outside and not sitting inside on a video game but I'm also concerned for the well being and safety of our children. And being outside when its that's hot with 99% percent humidity is not good for anyone, especially children!! Also when bringing this issue to the attention of Moylan Ice Plex owner he was very rude and nowhere near understanding. I was told that \ I could take my child somewhere else if I didn't like it\! Just plain rude and inconsiderate! So parents please be cautious when choosing \Summer Camps\ for your children. I was also told that eating outside was option, but that option was never given.
Very disappointed that @EHSummerCamp chose to show my children ages 6 and 9 their first PG-13 movie. I can believe their lack of common sense and professionalism.
Our kids loved this camp. It is great to have a camp that has a lot of indoor activities to do on those real hot days. Best camp in Omaha!
