Our best restaurant dinner of the year. Far exceeded expectations. We were expecting an acceptable but overpriced meal, but the food was exceptional and unique. The menu was rather limited, but choices were good. The server Mary was also exceptional. She knew the menu completely, and provided friendly attentive service without being overbearing. Service was prompt without making you feel rushed. Excellent recommendations.

Food was pretty good. Nice to see a Wagyu burger this far out in the wilderness. Half the pizza was kinda dry, and the other half was pretty good. We passed on dessert in the restaurant to visit their adjacent ice cream shop. They only had 3 funky flavors and no basic ones, which made getting dessert a disappointment. They said they were waiting for a delivery, so understandable I guess.
Absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We started with the sourdough bread with olive oil and balsamic. I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and my husband had the Pan Seared Salmon with curried cauliflower. Both were perfectly spiced. The ravioli was in a light creamy sauce an I enjoyed every bite. I did try my husbands salmon, it was so tender with just the perfect amount of spice. If you are celebrating a special occasion, you should go. In fact, if you’re hungry and looking for a real foodie experience, you should go.
Came here for lunch with the family and I really enjoyed the food. Everything seemed homemade and it looked like the whole resort was recently renovated. Spent some time in the upstairs rec room after lunch which was fun as well.
Beautiful resort with old time charm and much of the period correct features intact. Reminds me of a resort that would have been On Golden Pond if one had been featured. Fantastic restoration, good food and views, and great bars. Kudos to the owners who saved this gem.
I have not stayed here yet - when I do I will update my review. We walked the grounds and walked through the main building. It is tastefully decorated and has nice interior decor. It's clear they put a lot of time into the renovations of the buildings and grounds just a short time ago.
Lovely place, very scenic. Staff was pleasant. Food was very good and reasonable prices. Lots of local items and wines on the menu. Only complaint was that the main dining area was rather loud, made it difficult to have a conversation. Would still ho back but might request a different place to sit. Cute tiki bar upstairs with a great view
Fine just fine (dinner entrees overcooked, breakfast eggs undercooked). I imagine things are still being tweaked so I look forward to trying again later in the season. Our servers were delightful and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous.
