Great Facility! Earlier this year my dad went to Elim Park after spending almost 9 months in the hospital and having a leg amputated The care that he received at Elim was fantastic. Staff was pleasant and really took a liking to my father. From the admin staff to the nurses, aids to rehab everyone was great! Thanks so much for all you did for my father while he was in your care.

My mother is a resident of the Independent Living Section of Elim Park Place. I am so grateful for the genuine care, concern, and understanding every single member of the Elim Park staff -- from the CEO and executive leadership in nursing and independent living to the ALSA home aides and culinary staff - has shown for her during this extremely challenging year. The CEO always emphasizes in his oral and written communications with residents and their family members that Elim Park Place is a mission-driven institution fueled by the desire and intent to \Honor God in all we do.\ What has become clear to me over the year that my mother has lived at Elim Park is that this mission statement is not a remote, pie-in-the-sky aspiration, but a true polestar. In so many ways, big and small, I have seen faith, hope and love in action in this community, under the most trying of circumstances. Thank you and God Bless!

My 87 yr. old brother-in-law was a pt. in the rehab facility recently for several weeks. During that time, 1250 was stolen from him. To date, the money has not been recovered nor has he been reimbursed. I have made several calls to Elim Park with no resolution and at times, no response at all. 2 weeks ago, I wrote a letter to the President/CEO and again, no response. Apparently, the philosophy of this facility in handling serious, patient issues is to ignore them. SHAME ON YOU, ELIM PARK.

I was so excited about my first interview, post receiving my CNA certificate, and doing 102 hours of clinicals. Never the less the experience was awful , unprofessional and treated horribly. Here's what happened: I was asked to fill out the application pre interview, I was contacted by the DOA of nursing ( Janice) I showed up 15 mins early ( the interview was for 11am I showed up at 10:45am ) with my career portfolio, CNA certificate , my PPD, everything that was asked of the requirements met. The interview lasted about 45 mins. I asked when will I have an answer, Janice ( DOA) replied by the end of the week( Friday I'll call you with my answer) keep in mind the whole time she asked me what hours would I like and she'd start me off with 30 hrs. Okay no problem, fast forward to Friday day of the phone call, another woman called me whom I've never met, never spoke to didn't even know who this person was. So instead of Janice ( DOA) calling me herself, she threw me to the wolves, instead her telling me that she decided not to give me the position, she relays the message to this person and this person goes well she said you don't have enough experience. It was awful, it was very unprofessional and a horrible way to treat a human being. It was an awful way to handle a decision like that. In this time of need if we don't give people chances so they can craft their skills how would they expect to get the overall experience. I am a state tested CNA the way I was handled and thrown to the wolves was unfathomable. I was offered a watered down position with less pay from from another person after I spent 42 in an uber applying for the CNA position, why would I take a lower position after I went through 12 courses and 102 clinical hours of Nursing Assistant classes. I just want to share my story how horrible it made me feel with the unprofessional way I was handled .

Elim Park provides excellent care in the rehab center. The cleanliness and amenities are also top notch. My father stayed there for a couple months in 2019. The nurses were kind and friendly and the entire staff went above and beyond to help create a very special and memorable day for my father during a family event. Thank you for helping to make his stay there a happy one. -Doug B
