I have now used used Elite Funeral Directors 5 times and cannot thank Diane and her team enough for their professionalism, support and expertise. Every funeral and farewell is different and the team at Elite Funeral Directors assisted in providing the farewell that was needed for each of my family members over the years. Throughout the process there was no request or question that Dianne could not answer. It's hard to know what to expect when somebody special passes before their expected time and you have to help create a service that would help loved ones remember them. Diane was good to deal with and attentive in person. She was professional and helped guide us throughout the process, never pushing too much. There were a couple of instances where communication was not relayed well between Diane & Scott but nothing is perfect, I guess. The service went well and so did the discussions and preparations for the funeral. It's hard to give a rating when we don't have any other experiences to compare it to but we did feel looked after.

From the moment we called to arrange my father’s funeral, Diane showed great compassion and interest in my dad, asking about his interests, life and achievements. This was an important difference for us as the other funeral directors we’d called, whilst highly professional, opened with costs and logistics. It gave my family great comfort that Diane was interested in the whole person. Every detail in the planning and on the day was managed sensitively and with great care and thought. Diane’s team recommended an excellent celebrant who was well-matched to our needs. Our family was keen to commission an independent funeral director and Diane and her team displayed all the hallmarks of a great owner-operated business: a small and dedicated team, focused on the customer and led by our decisions, with no “upsell” pressure. We can't recommend Elite Funerals enough. Dianne was gentle, comforting and genuinely interested to find out about my uncle who passed so suddenly. We wanted a small funeral, simple, informal affair without bells or whistles with a very simple casket, with no flowers or music....Dianne gave us all that....we did not feel pushed or steered into anything we did not want which was wonderful. Dianne listened and delivered. The other thing that we really wanted is to find an independent funeral directors who would take care of us and not bunch of shareholders and we found that in Elite Funerals.
