A hats off to Jason for taking a look at my Resmed airsense 10 data using Oscar to take a deep look at my sleep data. I have tried a number of full face and nasal masks which still leaked on me. Settled on a wisp nasal mask. I knew that I was breathing through my mouth with a slightly deviated septum. When Jason looked at a week of my data he said that I had a high air leak and that I was waking up every 4 to 5 minutes all night long. Probably mouth sputters as he called it. It was not waking me up enough to trigger more apnea’s but definitely explains my disrupted sleep and why I’ve had so much fatigue, memory fog, morning headaches. I’ve been on Cpap 4 years. My medical and Resmed app said I was doing great App showed some nights mask leaking mask. I had no idea how bad mouth breathing could be. I kept saying I’m so tired, morning headaches, some migraines. I literally got desperate enough to tell my doctor that I was getting foggy headed and hard to concentrate. I cut my work back more and more the last 2 1/2 years Some days were better than others. I saw a neurologist who referred memory test. On a hunch I saw Jason. I then had memory testing done. The results were normal. My doctor said definitely related to sleep apnea when I mentioned my sleep data. Things are starting to resolve and get better. My thinking is clearer and less headaches. I am going to request a full sleep study again from my medical. Thank you Jason!
