CHAPCA, under the leadership of Sheila Clark CEO and Sarah Dorricott Membership Director, has been instrumental in getting our hospice patient care booklet, A PATH TO COMFORT: CARING FOR THE HOSPICE PATIENT, recognized for its value. This care plan based booklet improves CAHPS scores and decreases triage and after hours calls. Thank you CHAPCA!

CHAPCA is a must have resource for all hospice programs in California. I have needed guidance from licensing to regulations and all my questions are answered the same day. Thank you!

My husband has a terminal illness, and we have been trying to find out about Palliative Care. I am lucky to have found CHAPCA, and had the opportunity to speak with Sheila, who took time on several occasions to help us and answer my questions about Palliative Care. Up until then, we were getting various versions of what it is, and who can get a referral. She has pointed us in the right direction, and given me a lot of support in an unfamiliar territory. We are waiting for the referral to contact us so we can move ahead. Many thanks!
