My daughter was not feeling well it was late in the evening and taking her to the ER was not a preferred option during Covid-19. I made an appointment with Elk Grove Urgent Care using my mobile phone. I received an immediate appointment confirmation. The clinic was clean and the staff was amazing. My daughter is 4, when we arrived at 8pm she was already tired from the long day. The nurse at the front desk provided my daughter with coloring pencils and and a fun character page to color. We waited for less than an hour before being called back to see the physician assistant. She was friendly and patient. My daughter really liked her and I appreciate her attention to detail and the kindness she showed my daughter. The experience was amazing from beginning to end. I appreciate everyone at Elk Grove Urgent Care for helping me, the worried mom and my daughter that did not feel well. I walked in nervous, not knowing what to expect and we all walked out with smiles on our faces. Thank you very much!

Went there yesterday to get a Covid test. I had extreme symptoms and at the time had 102 fever which I had specifically mentioned on their paper. Yet they made me stand there in my car wait to get the test for more than THREE HOURS. The test itself I took less than a minute. I have provided every single information that they asked of me. Absolutely atrocious and genuinely just cruel. Understand a lot of people want to get tested but they could’ve at least showed some care for the people. Especially people with extreme symptoms. After the night ended some random guy called me from the office to discuss the results after someone else already had and literally hangs up on me while talking to me. STOP DOING COVID TESTS IF YOU DON’T CARE FOR COVID PATIENTS !

We called to confirm 3 times that they were offering rapid covid tests all day on Fridays. The first time we called, they said to call ahead of time to give them our information so they could provide the test in our vehicle. When we called the second time to do that, a different person said they won’t take information ahead of time, only when we arrive, but we can get tested anytime during the afternoon. When we finally arrived in the afternoon, we were turned away and told “we aren’t doing those anymore.” It would be great if the staff could give consistent information. Calling was a total waste of our time, not to mention driving there to get the test, and then we were turned away after being told we could get tested.

This urgent care center is not good when performing the process of COVID-19 testing. We lined up from 7am , they said that they accept 50 a day but unfortunately they said they will accept only 30 this day due to weather conditions, my mom is the 30th in the line , so she was the only one given the form.. it's already 12pm and not yet called..one thing I observed was, there's one lady only who is taking the swab each person inside their cars, she took the swab and take with her walking in an open area with the rain, she never put the swab inside a tube!

urgent care but there is no care to start with. They just want your money. And after everything the doctor tells you to go to the emergency room. Don’t go trust me
