Food is hit or miss with this place. Certain things were good at certain times. Chicken was like rubber this time! That can be overlooked. I don't expect it to be a 5 star restaurant. However, the lack of customer service and rudeness cannot be overlooked. Throwing change at paying customers? Getting loud and mad because you don't have an item that is on your menu? I would rather drive 30 minutes to the north for some Afghani cuisine. Just to find people who know how to speak to customers like a human being.

The food is so so especially the kabob chicken is very dry and the ground beef is really over cooked. But the Bolani is very good. The customer service is very slow. Will go back and give it another try...maybe.
The tri tip kabob is really good here. I also tried the chaplee kabob, a little bit spicy for me, but the seasoning is really good. The portions are pretty big. It comes with some salad,Flatbread and the rice is bomb! Also tried the groundbeef too and it's pretty good too.
Dirty atmosphere, rude customer service. Stay away from this restaurant!
Great food, excellent customer service
I know we’re still in the middle of a pandemic but when you try to help small restaurants, this one will definitely not get my money. I placed 3 orders for take out today. 1 full meal of Chapli kabob, and 2 orders of Chapli kabob alone. I asked if I can have the green sauce with the order. She only hands me ONE stating we only give the sauce if you order the full meal. Umm hello, I just paid 10 each for the additional Chapli kabobs and an additional meal on top of that. I can’t have any sauce with the kabobs? You expect your customers to spend money but eat their food dry? It should be common courtesy when I wasn’t even asking for “extra” sauce. I will not be returning here for sure. There are plenty of Afghan restaurants in the area with better customer service.
My husband and I picked up food here while looking at houses to buy in Elk Grove. The woman who took our order was so nice and explained the different menu options when we asked. We got the beef tikka kabob plate and the bolani (which we had never had before). Soooo gooood! She warned us the bolani would take 20 minutes, so we sat outside on the nice terrace and waited. They were right on time. We took it home and it held up really well after the drive. Hope we find a house in Elk Grove so that we can make this place a staple!
Excellent food!! Love the test! The employees are very friendly. Stay safe and healthy and thank you for the great experience.
