A classic Sacramento tradition! I always have the egg salad sandwich... I don't know why. This is the only place I order that, and it has been the same delicious taste for 40 years! Of course, I also have ice cream... which, too, is great! There are few places that can produce the same quality, delicious food, consistently across time and multiple stores... this family shop is one.

The ice cream here never disappoints. We both got Matthew's small sundaes - yummy!!! Two huge scoops of ice cream with your choice of topping. Definitely recommend!

I love the big Carl. They do not skimp on the meat. In house made ice cream. With they had better no sugar added flavors

We went here with our family to enjoy a little bit of dessert and we were not disappointed. Their shakes and ice-cream, in general, are delectable. Could get busy during the weekends and holidays, but worth the wait if you want some sweets. The one we went to is in Elk Grove which is newer and a little bigger.

My first experience and it was phenomenal! Our first family outing since the 2020 pandemic shut down. I can't say enough great things about the staff. Our server Kevin was delightful, helpful and patient as we were there for my 11 year olds birthday. Thank you for an amazing outing.

The restaurant has been sectioned off for families and there is outside seating along with curbside pick up. They are definitely trying to keep us safe.

Had the Mike's club sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Really good! Finished off with a fudge sundae! Excellent!

Delicious, and server's were wonderful! Very busy, even in the walk up for take out, but, line moves quickly 5 Stars!
