I have worked with Cris and her team on and off for several years. They are knowledgeable, highly responsive and good at explaining technical differences in policies and coverage. I switched my homeowners insurance from Farmers who raised my rates and my coverage amounts every single year without saying a word to the point that the premium I was paying after 6 years was double that of what I started with, and my home was overinsured. Allstate does not have automatic increases and includes water damage in their coverage. Their premium for appropriate coverage was about 60% of the Farmers premium.

Allstate is pretty easy to sign up, and the prices are not to crazy. My issues come with the Safe Driving App. At first it was just that the app would occasional log a hard break when I hadn't stopped at all, or even slowed. Annoying, but again, not horrible. I mostly stopped paying Attention to the pp until I got a notification telling me I hadn't logged a trip in weeks. I was weird because my GPS is always on when I leave the house. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app and then it told me I had no trips logged at all. I gave up and went about my business, figuring it was running now, so I'd just let it go. Awhile later I go into my app because I had gone on a trip with a coworker was turning out to be a horrible driver and I wanted to specify I wasn't the one driving. At that point I see I have had an incident logged. Several in fact. Turned out I was getting dinged even though I was using my Bluetooth. I cant even ask google to turn on directions while at a stoplight without getting dinged. This is not what I signed up for.
