Booked through hotels.com and the owner was really sweet - he had wanted to call and reassure me that there were fridges already in the rooms to meet my special request. Be advised, no pets. No frills at this place but it was clean. The towels were really really soft (remarkably so). The motel is recessed off the main drag by a vacant lot and a little distanced from road noise. There were some characters that walked by but it was not too "shifty" looking. A couple blocks down we stumbled upon the brothel district while on a stroll (lol whoops!). It felt safe enough and everyone in town in the area was very courteous (ex: saying hello on the street; yielding so we could safely cross the road). The owner said they don't have many issues with theft but because I had a very visible bicycle in the back of my truck he recommended unpacking - he seemed genuinely concerned for us (not just worried about liability). This guy was seriously such a sweetie. When we were checking out I mentioned that there was a bag of bread above the vending machine (?) and he said someone had left it in the room, it was perfectly good bread, and he was using it to feed the birds so it didn't go to waste and the birds wouldn't go hungry. My only complaint was that the ceiling above our room creaked and our upstairs occupant was a tromper all night - next time I'd bring earplugs or request an upstairs room. Otherwise would definitely visit again!

Not the Hyatt, but also not 259 a night. Great little older motel. Very Clean. Nice TV, microwave, and fridge. Very pleased with my stay. Highly recommended. And the Casino is across the street.
Super clean and quiet! Danny at the front desk is very friendly. Gave me a breakfast recommendation morning after my stay. Room came with micro fridge/tiny freezebox (works very well, perfect for keeping a few items cool and freezing an ice pack for my lunchbox), TV, shower, plenty of towels, and a big neat bed. Would stay again. Definitely a pleasant experience.
This place is great! Very clean, VERY soft towels, the owner is an awesome guy. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Elko, you can’t beat this motel!
The owners are very professional, friendly,and obviously take great pride in their business and strive for customer satisfaction. Immaculately maintained...and ultra clean! A perfectly maintained retro hotel. This is the second time I've stayed here..with a 6 year lapse, and still meticulously maintained. A Great value... for your Dollar!...kind of shocking in this day and age ?.... Very Refreshing! It was a pleasure to stay here.
Rooms were clean. Prices were great. Awesome location. Additionally, the owner took the time to make a personal connection. I would definitely recommend this place. :)
