old school hawking

Very nice rooms, great staff, but if you come back from Hawking White Tail Jackrabbits and your boots are all muddy, make sure you clean them before you come in, they don't like cleaning that up..

When checking in I felt like I was the king of the hotel Night desk person Tom did a great job on greeting and making sure my stay was going to be comfortable. Hotel very clean, rooms were very clean. The Hampton Inn Elko deserves better than a 5 rating.

Curtains cover 1/2 of window so if you like parking lot lights and highways you are golden.

This is a great hotel! Our room was large, clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large, spotless and well-appointed with a great shower. The checkin was easy, all were masked appropriately, and they have a decent selection of beers in the large fridge, including Dos Equis, Corona, and Coors/Coors Lite. They have hand sanitizer by the checkin and the elevators. Definitely where we will stay on future Mountain View to Billings and Billings to Mountain View trips in future! We stayed in Room 402 - great!

Better than the motels in the area.One elevator was out of service. Which, during the age of coronavirus, was very restricting. The pool was open (indoor) but nearly too cold and we had to call to have to towels restocked. From all I could see, they were observing well the sanitizing and cleaning. I observed constant cleaning and sanitizing. I really appreciate that. Without that demonstrated effort and care, 3 stars. With it, 4 stars.
