This hotel was a disgrace. I walked in and felt claustrophobic. There was animal poop in the corner of my room and I called for room service and the manager came in with a broom and febreeze. there was no lock on the bathroom door and the water shot out everywhere of the sink and the window had mold and opened from the outside, the heater was sweltering, and there was no lock on a back door to the street. All night I feared for my life. Also the squares in the ceiling moved when you kicked it and there were lumps in the carpet. In the morning we realized there was a big sign that said "free breakfast". We went to the "lobby"(more of a ticket booth) and asked for free breakfast and he ran to the back room and grabbed us half eaten boxes of oatmeal chewies and honey buns. Mind you it was the same guy who checked us in and cleaned the poop. This place was a nightmare never consider staying at key motel. I swear on my life this story is true and it scarred me for life and I don't think ill trust another one man show hotel for good. I have no idea how idea how it passed sanitary inspections. You've been warned!

i stayed at key motel and it was very clean and bed was so comfortable and it had all the things i need it was great
We got into the room, exhausted from the day then once we set up our children in bed discovered a pile of DOG POOP in the corner!!! We called the owner in and he rudely insisted he didn't have pets so there couldn't be any dog poop. I insisted that someone had tricked him so he came...and took the poop away..sprayed some febreeze on it claiming it was disinfected....WHAT the HECK!? DON"T they clean their rooms between people?? Mold on the bathroom ceiling, back door didn't lock...the sign promises breakfast...but there was nothing but a guilty look from the owner and a shrug. I got mad and he gave us a half box of his oatmeal creme cookies from his personal stash and a box of nasty cinibuns...Not worth the 70 dollars he charged us!
