This hotel was definitely not worth the cheaper price. We did not feel safe there and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The building and the people were very sketchy and the vibes of the place were really bad. Inside the room, the main thing that stood out was the need for renovation. Especially in terms of electrical safety standards. I did not feel comfortable plugging my laptop in here. It was listed as non smoking but the smell inside was very off. Love this place! It may be the best Roadway in the states. Cheap and always clean with great rooms. I've stayed here many times over the years and it's 100% consistent. The renovated bathrooms are particularly nice. Staff are professional and friendly. Great value!!! A
This old school hotel is a pleasant surprise. The owner was very nice. The room was impressive, plenty of room, well kept and maintained. We would definitely stay here again.
Fast and very friendly check-in. Clean room. Saved ground floor for us old cripples.. satellite, comfortable bed. Great, great value . Should have asked for an upgrade. Found the same old woman in my bed that has been there for 50 years. Oh well, she's still hot!
I enjoyed my overnight stay and felt it was a good value. The outside is nothing much to look at, but is obviously cared for. The owner was a very nice person and took care to ask me not to smoke. Consequently my room was large, quiet and free of smoking odors, (and in my experience, sometimes non-smoking rooms smell like cigarettes). Very comfy large bed. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic courthouse, cafes and coffee. Elko is proud of its railroad town heritage and I found it charming with its quiet streets, old homes and friendly residents.
We had a very pleasant stay here, rooms were clean, could park next to your room which was a benefit, fridge and microwave in the room, quiet. Check in was smooth and felt safe in the area.
Just stayed here for the night, loved it overall. I am a traveler and having a pool or a nice casino does not matter since I don't use them. What matters the most for someone like me is comfort. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, linens and towels were clean, spotless bathroom and sink. They even have a fridge which I had to plug in to turn on but to big deal. It may not look like a 5 star hotel from the outside, but it was a flawless nice cozy hotel. Parking spaces may be short for HD trucks but if you are a decent enough driver, I'm sure it won't be an issue. Did not check in myself but my company told me the guy at the front desk was very accommodating and nice. Will stay here again if I'm in the area. 100% recommend!
Very affordable and room was super clean and comfortable. Just what I needed on my road trip! Great location in Elko, close to just about everything including good food spots. Would definitely stay again when passing through Elko.
