Best staff to check me in - always willing to help and very caring! Next time I'm out in Elko (which is seasonally) I will try to book for them with my dog. Only complaint is there is no good spot for a dog to go potty. Could we maybe set up a spot (without rocks) that a dog can relieve itself? Other than that at 2am (my dog is old but still active therefore when she has to go, she HAS TO GO.) it was a fantastic place to stay and I already have plans to book this place again in the next few months.

Best stay so far on our drive across the country :) the room was large, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything a person needs. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Check-in and -out were a breeze. Not sure when I'll be back on the west coast again, but I would gladly stay here. Definitely an amazing value for the price!
Broken lock on the door, stains on the sheets and towels, A/C didn't work. This has been the worst hotel stay ever. I felt the opposite of safe in this room.
Google calls this a 2-star hotel, but its a 5-star experience. To be honest, the giant neon Thunderbird atop the words "Best Kept Secret" is the reason I gave this place a shot; and it paid off! The owner at the counter was warm and welcoming despite the plexiglass barrier and masks between us. He was upfront that due to coronavirus there was no breakfast but there was coffee available... Which is breakfast enough for me! The rooms are a bit dated (you can tell the place was built decades ago), but the room was immaculately cared for, well kept, and clean. The blackout curtains were a godsend allowing me to sleep as early or late as I wanted. I LOVED the little sliding window in the bathroom! Initially I was here for four days, but found it charming enough to go back... And will go back again.
Very happily surprised at this place. Clean and spacious rooms, quality furniture, updated rooms. Would absolutely stay here again.
Comfortable room, spacious, Evening office manager was friendly and helpful. Wasn't the cleanest place I've ever stayed but for the price it was good. With Covid-19, I sprayed everything with alcohol anyway. But the refrigerator was dirty and the knob on the microwave was broken. But, hey for the price, I can deal with those things.

Excellent value. Exterior is dated, but that is the charm and I wasn't sleeping outside. Room was immaculatly clean and updated. Queen bed was comfortable and didn't sag, I believe it may have been recently replaced. I didn't use housekeeping but when I spoke with her on checkout day she was friendly. Chris (Kris) the Owner/Manager was very helpful and even provided a third key when I locked my first two in the room while moving bags in at arrival. It was so relaxing that I extended my stay an additional day a total of 6 days. I'm not a BOT nor do I work there. I recommend, if you are in the area, go the Bonnivle Salt Flats to see what your vehicle will do but don't go over the speed rating for your tires and tread depth. Chris, thank you for the accomidations.
