Fantastic service and excellent food. Took both daughter's (one very selective about what she eats) and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Nice relaxed atmosphere with fine, quality food. The place to go if you would rather invest a few extra pounds in an exceptional, quality meal. Sorry we didn't add more pictures- we were too intent on eating!

Twice I have eaten here with my wife, both times we were impressed. Excellent food but simple. Balanced courses, not too many ingredients but well made and constructed. You do not come away with a bulging tummy unable to move, I don’t want that. Good food that I will not eat everyday but wish I could. It is what I would consider to be a proper restaurant. Call again I will.

Loved everything about La Cachette having had a really bad experience some years ago I'd not wanted to go back!! So glad I did. The atmosphere is great, trendy but warm. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavours were so intense I didn't want my meal to end. The staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I honestly do not have anything negative to say.

Visited here on Mother's day. Good food. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Service was a little slow at times. But on the whole a lovely place.

A group of ladies were booked for afternoon tea last week and the place is lovely, the staff very attentive but most of us were very disappointed with the tea. Your menu states 'loose tea ' , it was tea bags in such a small pot between 3 people we only got 1 and 1/2 cups out of it so we were constantly asking for more which came quickly but another teabag was added each time till we had treacle. The sandwiches were not as advertised, cheap ham and cheddar with pickle, no ham hock. The cakes were shop bought (Madeira)not homemade and squares of chocolate brownie . The nicest part of the tea were the scones which were delicious. I know we were a large party but this is no excuse to cut corners, and please buy some new teapots ehich are fit for purpose.

AMAZING! Even got a hello from the Head Chef! Very friendly and great food. Would recommend to anyone who wants to refresh their palette with something a little different - food and atmosphere wise.
