The Child Trauma Therapy Centre was set up in 2018 in Ellesmere, Shropshire where the founder of Save the Children was born. Situated alongside the Mere it is there to help children, adolescents and adults recover from difficult life experiences. Also it is to provide expert Child and Adolescent Trainings and Psychotherapy Masterclasses for therapists to help them understand how children and adults traumatised in childhood process trauma differently
