Ellesmere a rural market town in north west corner of shropshire close to the welsh border, lots of pleasant places to walk like the meres ( lakes) and the llangolen canal designed by thomas telford for the transportation of welsh slates from llangolen to ellesmere port and liverpool ( hence the name ellesmere (port) via the shropshire union canal . Also Ellesmere has some great traditional butchers and bakers that still have shops on the high street selling the best pies plus ellesmere is home to fulwood milking parlours and hiab. Very friendly people and naturally beautiful clean place well worth visiting.
Beautiful area with mates to walk around a canal to walk down. Friendly people.
